Kudos from President Obama on Our Success with Re-entry Funding in Newark, NJ

Today, at Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey, President Obama discussed his vision for re-entry programs, and how Newark is doing such a great job in this area.

November 02, 2015 ( datsyn.com) - President Obama said he is "...so proud of what Newark's doing...". However, what wasn't said is that the only Federal funds to come to Newark in the past two years to serve this population...providing job training and placement...was due to programs developed, and grant proposals submitted by EYES INC.

In the past two years, EYES INC has been highly successful in securing millions in Federal and state funding to provide vocational training in high-demand industries and job placement services to citizens returning from incarceration, to include but not limited to:

In 2015, EYES INC researched and designed the BROWNS (Bridging Reentry Opportunities for Workforce Navigation to Success) Project for Essex County College of Newark, New Jersey. With only nine (9) awards up for grabs, the U.S. Department of Education, under its "Improved Reentry Education" program, awarded the college a 3-year grant of $1M in September 2015. The only re-entry grant awarded in Newark, New Jersey!

In 2014, EYES INC researched and designed the REAP (Rapid Employment and Advancement Program) for a private organization serving Newark and other areas in New Jersey. The 5-year project was funded for nearly $5M in August 2014, to train and place SNAP recipients into job and career opportunities within high-demand industries identified by the state of New Jersey.

In 2014, EYES INC researched and designed the TEAM (Training to Empower, Advance and Maintain) Project for Essex County College of Newark, New Jersey. The 3-year project was funded for nearly $1M in July 2014 by the U.S. Department of Labor, to train and place returning citizens into job and career opportunities within high-demand industries identified by the state of New Jersey.

Starting November 1, 2015, EYES INC will be accepting inquiries of engagement from potential new clients, located in any of the 50 states, for the 2015-2016 funding cycle. Although we would relish the opportunity to work with every organization that is in need of our support, we must limit our engagement level to ensure our record of success remains in tact.

If your organization is seeking $250K or more in funding, and you are in need of our expert services, please reach out to us as soon as possible.

Further, for organizations with new and/or active programs, we employ data analytic tools to assess comprehensively, performance metrics. To this end, we design data collection instruments, implement system processes, and develop data collection applications to streamline and make more efficacious, the evaluation process for community programs and services.
